Originally I was going to blog again about Glastonbury, but then I spotted this little story and it was just too good to miss. People who know I’m a witch tend to take it at face value whereas some, on learning it for the first time start panicking because they thing I might be about to put a spell on them and turn them into a toad or something. 😉
However, according to this little story it’s not witches they should be worrying about, but Franciscan monks.
Apparently, after two expensive bibles went missing in quick succession, they became so angry that they posted a note in the church about it, which included the comment, ‘We pray to God that the thief is struck by a strong bout of the shits.’
When questioned about their choice of words their response was that ‘The Lord and the faithful will understand.’
Oh I do. Believe me, I do.

Good one , Friars :))
“It is not exactly clean language,” the friar said, “but we couldn’t put up with it any longer. The Lord and the faithful will understand.” :)) I love it !
Which reminds me- I threatened to curse someone in my dream last night in order to escape-
Have a great Monday and start to the week , Tylluan xx
